Promotion Sunday

New 10 am Sunday school classes will kick-off Sunday, August, 15. Parents are encouraged to drop their kids to Sunday school and meet their new teachers. maps showing the locations of these classes will be available.

All Church Picnic

We are having our Annual Church Picnic this year August 15th at 5 p.m. This will be at Lincoln Park, Pavilion #2. We will provide the meat, buns, drinks and serviceware. Please bring a side dish and/or dessert & your lawn chair! There are lots of fun activities to get involved in, (horseshoes, Kiddieland, swimming & miniature golf). All extra activities will be at your own expense. If you have horseshoes or any other games that you would like to play, please bring them…thanks

Back-to-School Goodie Baskets

We are preparing to assemble our annual Back-to-School Goodie Baskets that will be delivered to our area schools. Supplies needed by Wednesday, August 18th at noon. Please email Bobbie Powers if you would like to help deliver.

Free College Lunch

Welcome back Sunday! there is a free lunch for college students Sunday, August 29th following the 11:00 am service. If you are interested in helping with food for college lunches please see Jenny Jameson or Josie King.

Rock the Light

September 3rd-5th. Rock the Light is a 3 day event packed with many different Christian bands and amazing worship. Cost is $55.

Pray and Play 2010 - Family Event

Sunday, September 12, from 3 pm - 6 pm, meet at the church. if you can, bring $2 for pizza. we will travel to Pittsburg school playgrounds and pray together for our families, church, schools, and country. Children will be allowed to play on the playground equipment before traveling to the next school. By 5:30 we will return to the church for pizza. Parents are invited to this event.

Men's Trip

The men's ministry is taking a trip to Royals game (vs. Cleveland Indians), September 18th. Please sign up by August 29. Cost: $20 per ticket. We will leave the church at 3 pm. Please sign up in the entry way.
